Our Staff
The staff at River Ridge is a team who are responsible for the day-to-day ministries. Although they differ widely in age, education, experience, sports, and music, they share a common passion for reaching Douglas and Carroll counties for Christ.
Sam Braswell, Lead Pastor
After working almost twenty years as a senior pastor of three different churches
in Georgia and Flordia, Sam and his wife moved to Douglasville to start church for people who may have given up on
the church, but have not given up on God.

fav book of the Bible and why: Philippians- It focuses on discovering real joy in life through Jesus.
Why are you planting a church?: I believe it's God's call on my life, and I want to help people who are disconnected from God connect with him.

After graduating
high school, Carlton wanted to get involved in something bigger than himself. He visited our first preview
service and fell in love with what we're doing.
